Although neuromuscular complications of COVID-19 have not received as much publicity as stroke complications, they are being increasingly reported. Guillain-Barré syndrome, a severe life-threatening paralyzing neuropathy that is a complication of many viral infections, has now been seen in COVID-19 patients in many countries.
Since the pandemic hit, 27 cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome stemming from the virus have been reported worldwide. Three of the cases were a variant of GBS, the Miller Fisher variant.
GBS cases were reported in Austria, China, France, Germany, Italy, Iran, Morocco, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the U.S. Italy and the U.S. had the most reported cases, with 10 and four, respectively. The mean age of the patients was 59.8; 63 percent were male. Forty-four percent of the patients – or 12 – had to be ventilated.

In the first clinical trial of its kind in the United States, physicians at the University of Alabama at Birmingham are testing a treatment to halt the potentially fatal immune over-reaction known as cytokine storm syndrome in patients with COVID-19.
Before the current coronavirus crisis, two UAB clinician-scientists were already in the middle of a clinical trial of the drug anakinra (rhIL–1Ra) aka Kineret, designed for rheumatoid arthritis, as a treatment for cytokine storm syndrome.
Reports from China and elsewhere indicate that patients critically ill from COVID-19 often have elevated levels of the immune-signaling molecules (cytokines) interleukin 6 (IL-6) and interleukin–1 beta (IL-1b).
There are FDA-approved drugs to reduce both IL-6 and IL-1-beta levels in the context of autoimmune diseases. Early reports have shown that anti-IL-6 treatment has generated favorable outcomes.

Chemists have now found oxidized charcoal nanoparticles are not only effective antioxidizers, but can also be made from an activated carbon source that is inexpensive, good manufacturing practice (GMP)-certified and already being used in humans to treat acute poisoning.
So, the good news is that we now have a variety of therapeutic options to treat COVID-19 (cytokine storm syndrome). But a lot of physicians don’t know what this is. The sooner you recognize it, the better the outcomes. If we can get people to diagnose this in the ER and the ICU, that would be ideal.

In 2006, a few hundred members of the Texas Academy of Science rose to their feet and gave a standing ovation to a speech by University of Texas evolutionary ecologist and lizard expert, Dr. Eric R. Pianka, who enthusiastically advocated the elimination of 90 percent of Earth’s population by airborne Ebola. He warned that quick steps must be taken to restore the planet before it’s too late.
Professor Pianka said the Earth as we know it will not survive without drastic measures. Then, and without presenting any data to justify this number, he asserted that the only feasible solution to saving the Earth is to reduce the population to 10 percent of the present number.
He then showed solutions for reducing the world’s population in the form of a slide depicting the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. War and famine would not do, he explained. Instead, disease offered the most efficient and fastest way to kill the billions that must soon die if the population crisis is to be solved.
Pianka then displayed a slide showing rows of human skulls, one of which had red lights flashing from its eye sockets.
AIDS is not an efficient killer, he explained, because it is too slow. His favorite candidate for eliminating 90 percent of the world’s population is airborne Ebola ( Ebola Reston ), because it is both highly lethal and it kills in days, instead of years. However, Professor Pianka did not mention that Ebola victims die a slow and torturous death as the virus initiates a cascade of biological calamities inside the victim that eventually liquefy the internal organs.
Then came the question and answer session, in which Professor Pianka stated that other diseases are also efficient killers.
The audience laughed when he said, “You know, the bird flu’s good, too.” They laughed again when he proposed, with a discernable note of glee in his voice that, “We need to sterilize everybody on the Earth.”
He spoke glowingly of the police state in China that enforces their one-child policy. He said, “Smarter people have fewer kids.”
The syndrome of social problems commonly called “overpopulation” is actually caused by poverty. Therefore, the problem cannot be solved by forcing people to restrict their fertility.

Jun 09, 2020: The U.S. Supreme Court redefined what for decades federal and state prosecutors thought had been “Indian Country” in eastern Oklahoma when it comes to crime enforcement jurisdictional purposes.
The court upheld challenges from two American Indians who claimed criminal cases prosecuted against them in state court should have been tried in federal court because Congress never disestablished the 19th century boundaries of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation reservation.
The decisions mean Oklahoma prosecutors lack the authority to pursue charges against American Indian defendants in much of eastern Oklahoma, including the city of Tulsa. It also throws into question the convictions of hundreds of American Indian defendants.
Crimes not involving American Indians will continue to be prosecuted in state courts.

However, a variation of the classic British Israel theory states that not only the British are descendants of Israel’s 10 lost tribes, but ALL the white peoples of the world.
Strauss classifies the different South African followings of this under the term White Israelism. These are people who put excessive accent on Israel, with the aim of religiously justifying their white racial purity. They teach racial segregation in all areas.

Stealing and appropriating the culture and history of indigenous peoples is a typical characteristic of all modern colonial-settler states, but usually accomplished once the indigenous people in question has been eliminated, dispossessed, or otherwise seemingly defeated therefore making it safe to do so. The colonial-settler state of “Israel,” established on the ruins of Palestine and through the expulsion of the majority of its indigenous population in 1948 and after, is no different.

The Israeli theft of all things Palestinian does not simply come from misguided notions of nationalism or childish pride as is often argued by Western apologists, but is rather a conscious political policy of the state that seeks to erase Palestine from historical memory, particularly within Western discourse. Indeed, the continuing ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their historic homeland goes hand in hand with the theft of Palestinian land, homes, history, and culture. It is an essential part of the larger, long-term Zionist project of eradicating the Palestinian nation altogether, literally writing it out of history while simultaneously assuming its place.

This vandalism went way beyond a religious reform. It was a frenzy, obliterating the artistic patrimony of centuries of indigenous craftsmanship with an intensity of hatred for imagery and depicting the divine that has strong and resonant parallels today.
The Matrix of Terrorism: from the Talmud to Wahhabism
A parallel can be drawn between the methods of political terror deployed in England by Cromwell during the 17th century, those deployed by the Wahhabi Saud tribe in the Arabian Peninsula during the 18th century and those of the French Revolution (1789), which foreshadowed the anarcho-socialist revolutions of the 19th and 20th centuries. These revolutions, many of which were accompanied by territorial expansion, all have one point in common: ideological domination by means of mass extermination. The aim was to build modern institutions on the remains of traditional ones.
This erasure has been correctly termed as memoricide by historian Ilan Pappe in The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine. Nur Masalha, elaborating further, writes: “The founding myths of Israel have dictated the conceptual removal of Palestinians before, during and after their physical removal in 1948. The de-Arabisation of Palestine, the erasure of Palestinian history and the elimination of the Palestinian’s collective memory by the Israeli state are no less violent than the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians in 1948 and the destruction of historic Palestine: this elimination is central to the construction of a hegemonic collective Israeli-Zionist-Jewish identity in the State of Israel” (The Palestine Nakba, 89).
Thus, the theft of Palestine and its culture has two essential and interwoven components, the removal/erasure of Palestinians and a concurrent assumption of nativity or “birthright” in Anglo-European Zionist terms. Over the last six and a half decades, this brazen erasure and theft has been achieved mainly through two methods: brutal violence (that is, terrorism) and mass media propaganda.
